One More Time is Larry and Melissa Beahm, the Musical Comedy Variety Duo. Traveling throughout the country, One More Time focuses on providing excellent music and tasteful humor for the boomers and seniors of our great United States. “Fifty-five plus” communities, RV parks, churches and senior centers all hire One More Time to perform their musical comedy variety shows: professional yet personal Vaudevillian/Broadway/ Vegas-type shows. Melissa and Larry started playing together part-time as a duo in 1993, and they have been performing together ever since. As two-thirds of the 60s and 70s rock/pop band, Off Center, Melissa and Larry worked on cruise ships for almost four years. Larry sings and plays keyboard with the best of them, and has been playing Classic Rock since long before it was called Classic Rock. Melissa, on the other hand, is classically trained, but heavily influenced by the balladeers of the 1970s. |
Larry
started playing the piano by ear at the age of three. He started
classical lessons at ten and has been playing paying gigs since the age
of thirteen. His path has led him
through diverse musical combinations,
performing for and with people in the industry ranging from Johnny
Cash
to Rick Braun
to .38 Special.
All
the drums, bass, and other orchestration
you
hear were recorded by Larry—no
store-bought karaoke!
Melissa also took piano lessons from age seven to thirteen, but she finally found her trump suit in her senior year of high school—her voice. She attended the music program at Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, graduating with the coveted Janice Baker Award for Outstanding Vocalist and a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy. One More Time has developed a versatile repertoire specializing in music for seniors, but capable of pulling out the pop stops for the "almost" seniors. If you remember the Beatles, James Taylor, Carole King, and Jimmy Buffett, you're old enough to enjoy One More Time. |
